Hiking
I was up North in Cumbria this last weekend visiting Mike, a (new) hiking mate. Trains worked fine - the west coast train line now takes only just over three hours from Euston to Penrith.
Here's a postcard from last weekend in the South of England. I was with my friend Wolf from Den Haag - we found a hotel in the centre of Winchester with a nice calm garden.
