You know you’re in the Devon hills when... the mud is red and plentiful and the fields are a patchwork of greens.

Mother’s cat, “Ginzo”

You know you’re in the Devon hills when... the mud is red and plentiful, the grass is growing green, even in February and even if it’s not raining. And there are lots of farm animals: quizzical Alpacas, my Brother’s dogs, our Mother’s old cat Ginzo, now a pensioner with an intense stare; as well as the usual sheep and some loveable brown cows.
